there are many ways to advertise your business.  Most use the the internet
and websites like google and others.  however, one of the most overlooked advertising
venues is offline advertising, and one of the easyiest ways to advertise offline is
by using flyers.  They are an inexpensive and highly effecte way to grab the
attention of buyers.  But how do you make your flyer visible among hundreds of others?
Here are some techniques you can use to make your flyer "pop."

1.  the most important part of your article is the title.  It needs to be memorablemarketing-flyers
and make a potential customer WANT to read your flyer.  You also want to
use powerful, eyecatching words like SECRET, TIME SENSATIVE, FREE BONUSES,
DISCOVER, PROVEN and words like that.  Don't be afraid to use capitalization
and other word art to make your title stand out.

2.  Use Graphics and color.  A large powerful image will grab attention and create
a mood.  The image should support the rest of your flyer and be the focal
point of your flyer.  There are millions of images out there that will
get your point across perfectly

3.  Focus on the benefits of your product or service.  You want to tell your
customer what they will get out of it.  You want to make it personal by
using the words "You" and "Your" Keep your text short and to the point
and break up longer paragraphs into bulleted points.

4.  Use solid testimonals or case studies.  Back up your claims with proof of
results.  A testional from a happy customer is a great way to support
your claims and build trust.  

5.  Organize your flyer.  Use boxes and borders in a way to make improtant elements
stand out.  you don't need to wall to wall with color and graphics, just
enough to make it pleasing to the eye

6.  Make your important points eaisly idenfifble.  use bullets, hightlighting, and
bold text to make your most important elements stand out.

7.  KEEP IT SIMPLE.  Use a simple text font that is easy to read and limit yourself
to two typefaces.  Allign your text in an easy to read way and be aware of
your printing margins.  

8.  PROOF READ.  This is one of the most important steps yet one that is usually overlooked
Before you hit the print button do a quick read though and check for
errors and make sure your flyer flows nicely

9.  If money is an issue, which it usually is, use bright colored paper and
print in black and white using shades of grey to provide contrast.

10.  Offer a discuout or time-sensative price.  create a pull-off cupon with your
website and cupon code.  clearly state any deadlines and limitations
of the offer.  You might also want to payment types allowed and a mailing
address if it pertains to your business.  

Creating your flyer is not hard.  it just takes a little imagination and know how.
You don't need to reinvent the wheel, just use these tips and you will see big
results in your marketing efforts.
